Sail out and visit the islands nearby
Spend a beautiful fulfilled day on a boat excursion and visit the islands of Cres, Lošinj, Rab and the small islands of Plavnik, Grgur and Goliotok.
Rainy days
When the weather refuses to cooperate, visit the beautiful small cave named Biserujka or take a peek inside the sea world aquarium in Krk and Baška!
Diving - During your visit to Krk you can, even if you are a beginner, learn the basics of proper diving, and those with more experience can visit more attractive locations where they can explore old shipwrecks, gorgonian gardens, caves, steep cliffs and similar.
Fishing - Go on a real fishing boat, watch the nets get thrown and the catch get pulled out of the sea, and then taste bites of the fresh catch prepared by the crew.
ACTIVE HOLIDAY / SPORT
- There are 300 km of hiking trails on the island and most of them are used as biking trails. Therefore, you have no excuse for not being active on your vacation!
- Walk to the Moon! (a promenade in Baška that leads to a plateau whose surface resembles the surface of the Moon)
- Climb up to the “Veli vrh” and “Obzova”, the highest hilltops on the island and enjoy the serenity, tranquility and vistas you can only dream about

Ski lift
One of the attractions is the ski lift or wakeboarding. It is a mere 5-minute drive by car away from the hotel in the direction of the town of Krk. Water skiing competitions are held here each summer. If you are a bit of an adventurous spirit, this is the right place for you.
Diving
Diving is also an increasingly popular activity, especially in the Adriatic Sea which is abundant in rich flora and fauna. For experienced divers as well as for beginners – Punat offers two diving centres. Get to know our sea bed with professional divers on courses held in English or German. A special attraction is the underwater pirate park – a new attraction on Krk, where you can dive with a helmet under water or even enjoy a glass of champagne.
Hiking and mountaineering
The island of Krk has a very developed hiking and mountaineering adventure tourism with many shepherds’ paths for you to discover. Hiking destinations are plentiful. You can follow the signs to Obzova or Veli Vrh to enjoy a breath-taking view of the entire Punat Bay.
Cycling
Punat offers cycling opportunities thanks to the new cycling path connecting Punat to other towns on the island. In addition to road cycling, we also offer adventure cycling which is increasingly popular among younger people. There is a downhill cycling trail above Punat where small tournaments and free races are held.
At the hotel you can rent classic bicycles or E-bikes.
CULTURAL EVENTS
The island of Krk is well-known for its traditional customs, each interesting in its own way and with a story of their own. For example, the traditional dance folklore is well-known in the wider Croatian region. There are also many cultural and entertainment events for all ages. Some of them include: Fish or Fisherman’s Day, Šurlice Day, Museum Nights, Klapa (choir) Nights, Barufe – funny games in Punat Bay (competitive games such as pulling a cauldron chain and similar), Cultural Summer, Olive Days, Asparagus Days and many others. Sports on Punta de Bij
The most famous beach in Punat is definitely Punta de Bij. The largest and most beautiful beach offers a variety of sports and entertainment facilities. Sports activities include renting jet skis, aquapark, renting kayaks and SUP boards, underwater park, i.e. helmet diving, sand volleyball, aqua gun and many more.
